Matt Marksberry- Lancaster Barnstormers
Episode 17 of BachTalk is with Matt Marksberry. Matt recently finished playing this past season with Lancaster Barnstormers in the Atlantic professional baseball league. This past season the Atlantic League implemented the computerized strike zone, stealing first base, and potentially moving the mound back a foot. Matt was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 2013 and reach the Major Leagues in 2015. Matt has played in wide arrange of professional baseball leagues such as Can-Am League, Australian Baseball League, Atlantic League and the Puerto Rican Winter League. In 2016 Matt went into a medically induced coma after experiencing stomach pains and talks about what exactly happened. Matt talks about the life in professional baseball and the stresses/pressures that come with the job. After his past experiences, Matt still believes that he can make it back to the Major leagues and impact a professional organization. Matt is a perfect example of a grinder and someone who just loves the game of baseball. Always Remember Be Yourself.
