Corey Arnold- Canes Baseball Cincinnati

IMG_0531.JPG

Episode 35 Season 2 is out with Corey Arnold. Corey is currently a 17u coach for Canes Baseball out of Cincinnati, OH and works as a consultant for Terillium Inc. Corey is one of my good friends and former college roommate. He played baseball at Earlham College and graduated school with degree in Supply Chain.

Corey talks about the transition from playing baseball vs. coaching. When players become a coach they seem to forget what their job is and that is to make players the best they can possible be. Corey tells about how he had an easy transition and couple of stories/examples from his college playing career. We also discuss what we both personally think about Top Velocity and Driveline as a whole and the differences between them.

2020 has been a crazy year as we all know. Corey being a recent college graduate talks about what students should think about as they graduate and put themselves in the best possible position, they can be entering the “Real World”.

Baseball is such a symbol of America and what it represents. We take a deep dive into what baseball needs to do as a whole in 2021 to help the game grow. Baseball benefits so many people in America and we hope that 2021 can help to regain some attention to the baseball world.

Corey has grown a ton since I roomed with him in college. He always still has to give me a hard time about little things but its all in good fun. I am really looking forward to Corey’s future as a coach and how he can help players become the best version of themselves on and off the field. Please join me in listening to Corey and “Always Remember Be Yourself”.
