Landon Steiner - Assistant Coach at Transylvania

Season 4 Episode 21 is out with Landon Steiner. Landon is currently an assistant coach at Transylvania University located in Lexington, Ky. Landon has had success right away at Transylvania University winning the HCAC Championship his second year of coaching. Landon finished his college career at Winston-Salem State University.

Landon goes in-depth talking about the development at a D3 and how to overcome the restrictions that comes with that. Landon talks about how in order to become a successful organization you have to trust people outside of the school to train your players at a high level.

2022 has been a crazy year for recruiting. Currently for D1 there are 3,600 athletes in the transfer portal. The portal has changed everything about recruiting and it will only get crazier. Landon talks about his overall experiences with recruiting during the 2021-2022 season. He explains that recruiting is starting to completely change and protecting your current players might be more important than ever.

Please join me in listening to Landon and “Always Remember Be Yourself”.
