Ethan Moore- Minnesota Twins Baseball Research Fellow
Episode 2 Season 3 is out with Ethan Moore. Ethan is currently a Baseball Research, Fellow with the Minnesota Twins. Fellows work with a variety of data sources to generate insight and have the ability to impact front office decision making, player development, and domestic and international scouting.
Ethan was most recently the Director of Analytics and Video Coordinator for Cal Poly Baseball. Ethan was in charge of technology data collection including Trackman, Rapsodo, BATS, Blast, and Synergy. He was also in charge of a group of student managers to accommodate all of these tasks.
During the podcast, Ethan describes how different the “Student Manager Life” has changed. The student manager team has completely changed over the last three years and is such a vital part of a college baseball program. If you want to work in a front office someday you need to have this experience and learn from people who share the same passion.

Ethan wanted to write about his experiences going through the MLB front office hiring process and what it takes to get one of these positions. The article had a huge response on twitter and showed how hard it really is to get one of these positions.
